After dozens of Rochester shoots, we've heard most of the questions that come up before a booking is confirmed. Here are the ones that come up most often — answered directly.
How long does the shoot take?
Plan for 60–90 minutes on-site total. Drone exterior sequences run 20–30 minutes depending on the property and weather conditions. Interior 360° walkthrough runs 30–45 minutes depending on home size. We arrive 15 minutes early to set up and walk the property. You don't need to be there — just leave us access and a point of contact by phone.
Do I need to be home?
No. Most of our shoots happen while the listing agent or homeowner is elsewhere. We just need access — a lockbox code or key arrangement — and a phone number to reach someone if we have a question. We secure the property and leave it exactly as we found it.
What if it rains?
We reschedule at no charge. Drone flights require winds below 15 mph and no active precipitation for safe operation and quality footage. If weather looks questionable on your shoot day, we'll contact you by 7am to confirm or reschedule. Interior 360° tours can typically proceed in any weather — so if it's just overcast, we often do the interior and return for the exterior when conditions clear.
How do I get the tour onto Zillow?
We include a step-by-step guide with every delivery covering Zillow, Realtor.com, and Facebook Marketplace. The short version: log into your Zillow Owner account, find your listing, click Edit, scroll to the Virtual Tour field, paste your unbranded link, and save. Takes about 3 minutes.
Are you insured?
Yes — $1M commercial liability, certificate available on request. All pilots hold current FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificates. We can provide documentation for properties or HOAs that require it.
What's your turnaround?
48 hours from shoot to delivery. Morning shoots often deliver the same evening. You receive an email with all your files: the drone video, both branded and unbranded tour links, the 9:16 vertical reel, still extractions, and your platform upload guide.
What's the cancellation policy?
Cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your shoot at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours incur a 50% fee to cover the preparation time. We understand listings move fast — just let us know as early as possible and we'll work with you.
